الملخص

Notre mémoire traite le sujet de la mise en valeur du patrimoine culturel matériel etimmatériel du quartier algérois de Bâb El Oued. Lieu de brassage culturel, et portion de lafaçade urbaine et maritime d’Alger. Bâb El Oued est entrain de voir son patrimoine bâti sedésagréger petit à petit. L’ilot du Dey nous est alors apparu comme opportunité à saisir afin dedémontrer que ce quartier populaire peut se régénérer architecturalement, intégré pas sonimage et ses fonctions sur le front de mer, tout en puisant dans ses ressources humaines etidentitaire . En notre qualité d’architectes (futures architectes ), nous avons pensé qu’un projetarchitectural pourrait être le vecteur indiqué pour cela.Mots clés : Patrimoine immatériel /identité /culture urbaine/Bâb El Oued/loisir

Our research focuses on the enhancement of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Algiers neighborhood of Bâb El Oued. As a place of cultural blending and an integral part of Algiers' urban and maritime landscape, Bâb El Oued is witnessing the gradual degradation of its built heritage. The Dey island has emerged as an opportunity to demonstrate that this popular neighborhood can undergo architectural regeneration, integrating its image and functions along the waterfront while drawing upon its human and cultural resources.As architects (or future architects), we believe that an architectural project can serve as the appropriate catalyst for this transformation
