ترجمة الملخص

This study investigates the relationship between psychological stressesand needs among parents of physically disabled in Khartoum State. Theresearcher applied the descriptive method in carrying out this study.Simple random selection method was applied in selecting (300) subjects:(150) fathers and (150) mothers. The tools of data collection consist ofthree parts: Bibliographical information sheet, psychological stressesscale, and needs scale. The data were manipulated by the computer andthe Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for T-test andPearson correlation coefficient test. The most important results of thestudy can be summarized as follows: Psychological stresses amongparents of physically disabled are below average. There are nostatistically significant differences in psychological stresses amongparents of physically disabled according to parents’ gender (fathers -mothers). There is no statistically significant correlation betweenpsychological stresses and educational level of parents of physicallydisabled. There is a positive statistically significant correlation betweenpsychological stresses among parents of physically disabled and the levelof physical disablement. There is a positive statistically significantcorrelation between psychological stresses among parents of physicallydisabled and their different living needs.
