الملخص

This study tries to investigate psychological health amongSchizophrenic,s co-patients in the light of some variables i.e duration ofdisease, gender of co-patient, social status and educational level of copatients.Descriptive method is applied to fulfill the objectives of the study.The sample consist of (80) subjects؛ (35) male co-patients, and (45) female,simple random selection was applied in selecting this sample. The sample ofschizophreni,s co-patients selected according to random sample methodfrom Altigany Almahy hospitals, psychotherapy department of Khartoumhospital and the medical arm Omdurman hospital. Psychological Health.Cornel Scale (designed by Mohamed Imadadin Ismail and Said A. HameedMuris, 1973), applied in collecting the data of this study. Data manipulatedby using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) by applying (T) test.The most important results of the present study can be summarized in thefollowing points.Psychological health of Schizophrenics' co-patients is statisticallybelow the average. There is significant difference in Psychological health ofSchizophrenics' co-patients according to the duration of disease.There in no significant difference in Psychological health amongSchizophrenic,s co-patients according to gender. There is no significantdifference in Psychological health among Schizophrenic's co-patientsaccording to social status and There is no significant difference inزPsychological health among Schizophrenic's co-patients according toeducational level.Researchist presented a number of recommendations the mostimportant. We must give the necessary attention for psychological healthschizophrenia Co-Patients through presentation the awareness to them byconslting programs with necessity of Co-patients participation with thetreatment team and the rehabilitation for schizophrenic,s patient, also theresearchist suggested more studies in this field as the appliance of theconsulting program for schizophreni,s co patients and references were citedat the end of study.
