الملخص

When the world has started to relate terrorism with religion, extremists like the Ku Klux Klan of the 20th Century and the Islamic State of the 21st Century have taken advantage of this opportunity to claim legitimacy. These groups were of a great deal of commitment to their goals of maintaining control and restoring order, to the extent of extremism that, eventually, led to terrorism. That is why, this analytical research aims at investigating the characteristics that reinforced the position of such groups, in accordance with how far they went to achieve their claims. Therefore, both of the Ku Klux Klan and the Islamic State have had a strong condemnation of terrorism, as a result of the ruthless crimes they committed across history.

Quand le monde a commencé à relier le terrorisme à la religion, des extrémistes comme Ku Klux Klan du 20ème siècle et l'État islamique du 21ème siècle ont profité de cette opportunité pour revendiquer unelégitimité. Ces groupes ont affiché le rétablissement et le maintient de l'ordre comme des objectifs principaux, jusqu'à la limite de l'extrémisme qui, éventuellement, a conduit au terrorisme. C'est pourquoi, cette recherche analytique envisage à étudier les caractéristiques qui ont renforcé la position detels groupes, dans la mesure oùilsont réussi à obtenir leurs revendications. Par conséquent, les deux Ku Klux Klan et l'État islamique ont fait face à une fortecondamnation du terrorisme, en raison des crimes impitoyables qu'ils ont commis à travers l'histoire
