ترجمة الملخص

This study aimed to analyze the content of (My Arabic Language) curriculum for developed fourth grade in the field of higher thinking skills and its development among students in its first trial edition (2015-2016) ,the study consisted of two parts .The First part was represented by (My Arabic Language ) ,and the second part was represented by choosing 30 teachers teaching the curriculum as a random simple sample in (Dubai, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain) at the rate of 10 teachers peremirate ,to observe methods of teaching higher order thinking skills included in the curriculum within the Learning Situation ,the study relied on the descriptive method using 3 tools prepared by the researcher which are : thinking skills list (5 main skills and 18 sub-skills) ,in addition to content analysis forum and observation card. The sincerity of these tools were measured by exposing them to a committee of ,the consistency of the analysis was completed by repeating the analysis by the researcher herself during different periods of time whereas the consistency factor value was (99.37%) .The analysis results pointed out that the number of critical thinking skills was(189),creative thinking skills(178) ,solving problems skills(8) ,decision making skills(7) ,metacognitive thinking skills(30) and a total of 412 skills , by calculating percentages and frequencies of the main skill and its branches in the curriculum ,and determining the strengths and weaknesses revealed by the observation card, the study produced the following recommendations :To include a larger number of decision making and solving problems skills within the curriculum’s content alongside the necessity of executing training programs about how to teach and evaluate higher order thinking skills for teachers ,and build up their skills in designing various tasks which develop students’ higher order thinking skills. The researcher suggested a number of researches which evaluate the effect of the curriculum on students ,and urging to build programs which include higher order thinking skills in Arabic language and measuring its effect on fourth grade students.
