الملخص

إن الخرائط الإقليمية دور مهم في التحليل والتنبيه بواقع الإقليم، وهناك العديد من طرق التصميم الخرائطي يمكن استخدامها في إعداد الخرائط الطبيعية والبشرية للقضاء، إذ يوجد تباين كبير في الخصائص الجغرافية للقضاء على المستويين الريفي والحضري، فهناك تركز في مكان وتشتت في آخر، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج المهمة التي تؤكد إن عملية التصميم الخرائطي والمعطيات المستخدمة في البحث تعد أداة مهمة في عرض البيانات وتحليلها، تساهم في الوصول إلى نتائج علمية سليمة، عند التمثيل، كما إن طرق التصميم الخرائطي المستخدمة في تمثيل البيانات يمكن أن تتنوع، اعتماداً على نوعية البيانات المستخدمة، وطبيعتها، والهدف من عرضها، ومن خلال هذه طرق يمكن بيان توزيع الظواهر وتوضيح مكوناتها، وتوضيح تطورها الكمي والنسي، فضلاً عن تباين العلاقة بين الظاهرات ذاتها، أو ارتباطها بالظواهر الأخرى، يهدف البحث إعداد أطلس رقمي لها وأولى بيان الدور الواسع الذي تؤديه، وتمخضت الدراسة عن إعداد خرائط إقليمية للقضاء، من خلال تصميم خرائط للظواهر الطبيعية والبشرية، ومن خلال تحليل جميع الخرائط الجغرافية للقضاء، قد توصل البحث من خلال التصميم الخرائطي لتلك الظواهر إن أفضل الطرق للتصميم هي بطريقة الأشكال البيانية، لأنها تعكس التباين المكاني والكمّي للظواهر الجغرافية، كما وجدت الباحثة إن هناك تركزاً لأغلب الظواهر البشرية في مقاطعة دون أخرى، وحي سكني دون آخر، خاصة مركز القضاء، حيث تركزت فيه أغلب الأنشطة البشرية على الرغم من أنها سجل أقل مساحة عن بقية الوحدات الإدارية التابعة له، بينما تقل الأنشطة الاقتصادية وقلة الخدمات في الوحدات الواسعة ناحية الكفل.
