الملخص

This paper concentrates on the Anglo-American foreign policy towards Lebanon beginning in 1958, the year the of the first Marines' intervention in the country, until the present day. Furthermore, it deals with the participation of the Anglo-American forces amid multinational troops in Lebanon in 1982. Specifically, this work explores the circumstances and factors enclosing both deployments of the Anglo-America forces in 1958 and 1982, individually. More than that Particular regard is paid to the regional and international factors that impacted the U.S. and the U.K. decision to intervene and compare the aftermaths of both actions in the region. This research will also manifest the influences that Lebanese domestic politics exercises on America's foreign policy formulation towards the country. What should emerge from this paper is the clear pattern that is followed to guarantee the Western interests in the Middle East.

يتركز البحث على السیاسة الخارجیة الأمریكیة البریطانیة تجاه لبنان بدءا من عام 1958 ,باعتباره العام الذي یشھد أول تدخل قوات المار ینز الأمریكیة إلى الأراضي اللبنانیة .بالإضافة إلى ذلك تطرق البحث إلى الكشف عن تدخل القوات البریطانیة الأمریكیة تحت غطاء القوات المتعددة الجنسیات في لبنان عام 1982 .و على وجھ التحدید ، یكشف ھذا البحث عن أھم الظروف و العوامل التي لھا علاقة بنشر القوات الانجلوأمریكیة في عامي 1958و 1982كل على حده .لیتم التركیز عن أھم الدوافع الإقلیمیة و الدولیة التي أثرت على كل من الولایات المتحدة الأمریكیة من جھة و أثرت على و بریطانیا من جھة أخرى إلى التدخل .بالإضافة إلى ھذا یتطرق البحث لیبین اللظروف الداخلیة للبنان و علاقتھا بالسیاسات الإقلیمیة وبصیاغة السیاسة الخارجیة الأمریكیة تجاه البلد .في النھایة ما الذي یجب أن یستخلص كنتیجة لھذا التحقیق وتبیان النمط المتكرر التي یتم إتباعھمن انجترا و أمریكا لضمان المصالح الغربیة في الشرق الأوسط
