الملخص

Renal failure is a condition in which the kidneys fail to remove metabolic end-products from the blood and regulate the fluid, electrolyte, and pH balance of the extracellular fluids. The aim of this study is to assess the effect of hemodialysis on plasma calcium and phosphorous levels among renal failure patients attending Gezira Hospital for Renal Disease and Surgery. (50) Venous blood samples were taken (n36 males and n 14females) their age ranged from (10 to 70) years old. 50 venous blood samples were taken from all patients before and after hemodialysis . Samples were centrifuged to obtain plasma , plasma calcium and phosphate were measured by using chemistry analyzer Cobas versions C311 , the study showed that there was decrease in calcium levels and increase in phosphorous levels prehemodialysis, the mean was (7.886) for calcium and (6.596) for phosphorous . The study also showed that there was decreased in both calcium and phosphorous levels post hemodialysis, phosphorous return to the upper limit of normal range, and calcium lowered more. The mean was (7.670) for calcium and (4.518) for Phosphorous with P. value (0.00) for Calcium and (0.01) for phosphorous ,the study showed that calcium and phosphorous levels were affected by hemodialysis ,measuring of calcium and phosphorous levels for renal failure patients should be a routine test. In conclusion hemodialysis decrease calcium and phosphorous levels .

فشل الكلوي هو الحالة التي تفشل فيها الكليتان في إزالة المنتجات النهائية الأيضية من الدم،وتنظيم توازن السوائل، والكهارل، والرقم الهيدروجيني للسوائل خارج الخلية . الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو قياس تأثيرالغسيل الدموي على مستوى بلازما الكالسيوم والفسفور لدى المرضى المصابين بالفشل الكلوي في مستشفى الجزيرة لأمراض وجراحة الكلى. تم أخذ(عدد 50) عينة دم وريدي ،مريض(36) ذكرا (14) أنثى تراوحت أعمارهم بين عشرة سنوات إلى سبعون عاما. تم أخذ 50عينة دم وريدي من المرضى قبل وبعد الغسيل الدموي، تم فصل جميع العينات باستخدام جهاز الطرد المركزي للحصول على البلازما، تم قياس الكالسيوم والفسفات في البلازما باستخدام جهاز التحليل الكيميائي كوباس الذي يحمل الرقم سي311، أظهرت الدراسة أن هنالك انخفاض في مستوى الكالسيوم وارتفاع في مستوى الفسفور قبل الغسيل الدموي، كان متوسط القيم (7.886) بالنسبة للكالسيوم و (6.596) بالنسبة للفسفور.كما أظهرت الدراسة انخفاض في مستوى كلا من الكالسيوم والفسفور بعد الغسيل الدموي، وصل الفسفور للحد الأعلى من النطاق الطبيعي، كان متوسط القيم (7.670) بالنسبة للكالسيوم و(4.518) بالنسبة للفسفور وقيمة الاحتمال تعادل (0.00) بالنسبة للكالسيوم و(0.01) بالنسبة للفسفور. أظهرت هذه الدراسة تأثر مستوى الكالسيوم والفسفور بالغسيل الدموي، قياس مستوى الكالسيوم والفسفور لدى المرضى المصابين بالفشل الكلوي يجب أن يكون روتينيا. في الختام الغسيل الدموي يقلل من مستوى الكالسيوم والفسفور
