ترجمة الملخص

The current study aimed to understand how the Algerian public is exposed to Al-Jazeera news channel and its website on the internet, and what are the gratifications achieved from that, in terms of habits and patterns of exposure, as well as revealing the reasons behind it, in addition to knowing the extent of their trust in the news they receive through Al-Jazeera news channel and its website.This study was part of descriptive studies, and we used the survey method and comparative method, and we relied on the questionnaire and observation tools, as well as the questionnaire form to collect information in the field. The study population consisted of all the audience of Tizi-Ouzou province who are exposed to Al-Jazeera news channel and its website on the internet. The study sample consisted of a purposive sample of 150 individuals. After quantitative and qualitative analysis of the field study data, we reached a set of results, the most important of which are.The Al Jazeera elective study confirmed a higher rate of regular follow-up than traditional media, indicating that the popularity of the Tizi Ouzou channel is more closely associated with the channel.The reasons for the channel's popularity are attributed to a higher satisfaction rating compared to its website. These differences therefore demonstrate that the traditional medium (television) continues to garner greater trust and satisfaction from the audience compared to the digital medium.One of the most important effects is that the Tizi Ouzou audience does not show a significant difference in trust levels between the channel and the website, but they remain more reassured by what they see on screen, while treating the website with a degree of caution.
