ترجمة الملخص

The study aimed to identify the degree of use of English language teachers for story telling in developing creative thinking among primary school students in the Directorate of Education in the Salt Region from the point of view of their teachers, for the academic year (2023/2024). Its community consisted of (249) male and female teachers, and its sample consisted of (172) male and female teachers, with (77) female teachers and (95) male teachers, who were selected using a simple random method. It relied on the descriptive survey approach. The researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (22) paragraphs, distributed over four areas: fluency, flexibility, originality, and sensitivity to problems. The study reached results, including: The estimates of English language teachers in the Directorate of Education in the Salt Region for the use of storytelling in developing creative thinking among primary school students came at an average level for all areas. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the sample members regarding the degree of use of English language teachers for storytelling in developing creative thinking among students. The primary stage in the Directorate of Education in the Salt region from the point of view of their teachers is attributed to the variables of academic qualification and years of experience. The results of the study also showed statistically significant differences in the gender variable in favor of females. In light of the results, several recommendations were presented, including: holding training courses for English language teachers in developing creative thinking in storytelling.
