الملخص

تكمن أهمية مدن بيت لحم وبيت جالا وبيت ساحور في تعدديتها الدينية، فهي تحتوي أعلى نسبة تكمن أهمية مدن بيت لحم وبيت جالا و وقطاع غزة، وبالتالي فإن هناك مجالاﹰ واسعاﹰ للاختلاط بين تجمع للمسيحيين في الضفة الغربيةالمست الدراسة والعمل وأماكن السكن وحتى في الحياة العامةيحيين والمسلمين في مجالا .ولما كان هناك تاريخ عريق حول نجاعة العيش المشترك المسيحي -الإسلامي، وتاريخ آخر من الخلافات بين لتعرف على التحديات التي تواجه العيش المشترك المسيحيكلا الطرفين، فقد كان من المهم ا -الإ المدني في مواجهة هذه التحديات وتعزيز العيش المشترك سلامي، ودور مؤسسات المجتمعالمسيحي-الإسلامي في مجتمع بيت لحم .ولهذا الغرض تم دراسة وتحليل أهم العناصر التي يحي والإسلامي عبر العصور، وكذلك الأسباب التي تؤدي إلى حافظت على النسيج الفلسطيني المسخلافات بين أتباع الديانتين المسيحية والإسلامية في بيت لحم . الفلسطيني في المرحلة الحالية يتطلع لإقامة دولة فلسطين، وتنبع أهمية الدراسة من أن المجتمع ع مساراته، فيما يتعلق بالتعددية الدينية والفكرية أو ويسعى إلى بناء النسيج الاجتماعي في جميالانتماء الطبقي والاجتماعي .حيث تتناول هذه الدراسة العلاقات المسيحية -الإسلامية من حيث ، وكذلك النقد الموضوعي والبنﹼاء، وصفا وتقييما لهذه المحافظة على التقاليد الإيجابية وتمتينهاالتجربة، بهدف التخلص من السلبي فيها .بالإضافة إلى التركيز على مبادئ احترام الاختلافات والتعددية الدينية كعنيسيين في المجتمع الفلسطيني المتعدد بقناعاته الفكرية صرين أساسيين ورئوالعقائدية إذ. تعتبر التجربة الفلسطينية في العيش المشترك المسيحي-الإسلامي مثلاﹰ صالحاﹰ للغرب لم والإطلاع على هذه التجربة، نظراﹰ لزيادة عدد المهاجرين الذي بدأ يشعر بحاجته إلى التعالمسلمين، الغربية، والذي أدى إلى وجود بعض التوتر في العلاقات بمن فيهم العرب، إلى الدولبين المواطنين هناك . ث، وتم الإطلاع على دراسات سابقة واستكمال المادة النظرية وقد تم اتباع المنهج الوصفي في البحسلوبين مختلفين للحصول على المعلومات في الجانب العملللبحث، واعتماد أي للدراسة، وهما :ث تم الحصول على ملاحظات معرفية مركزة من أربعة مراجعين الاستبانة وإجراء المقابلات، حيهم :الأب جمال خضر )عميد كلية الآداب والدراسات الدينية في جامعة بيت لحم(، والأستاذ يوسف هريمي )أستاذ تربية دينية إسلامية في عدة جامعات محلية(، والأستاذ فؤادجقمان )مدير المؤسسة التعليمية العربية(، والدكتور سامي عدوان )أستاذ التربية في جامعة بيت لحم .(وتم فحص صدق وثبات الاستبانة من خلال المحلل الإحصائي، الأستاذ محمد زواهرة، الذي قام بالمعالجالإحصائية ، د وذلك ضمن برنامج الرزم الإحصائية )SPSS .(وقد قام الأستاذ تحسين يقين، رئيس قسم التحرير في مركز المناهجالتابع لوزارة التربية والتعليم، بتنقيح الرسالة لغوياﹰ. اسة هي أن التعصب الديني يعتبر من أهم التحديات التي ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدرتواجه العيش المشترك المسيحي -الإسلامي في بيت لحم، بينما يعتبر الخطابالديني في المساجد والكنائس من أضعفها .نة هو من أهم القيم التي نجحت مؤسسات المجتمع المدني وأن مفهوم المواط، بينما كان مفهوم الحوار من أدنى نجاحات هذه المؤسساتفي تعميقه .وتوصلت الدراسة كذلك إلى الأمني والصراع الداخلي بين حركتي حماس وفتح يعد من أأن الفلتان هم التحديات التي تواجه كما أن الزواج المختلط هو من أهم التحديات التي تواجه المسيحيين على وجه الخصوص، سات العليا بشكل عام قد تبلورت أفكارهم وغدوا أقل من المراهقين في بيت لحم، وأن حملة الدرائج الحوار، وأن ذوي الدخول المتوسطة هم من أكثر الناسغيرهم تأثراﹰ بنتاتأثراﹰ بالإثارات الغربية. ومن أهم توصيات الدراسة، أولا : تركيز معلمي التربية الدينية والمدنية على المفاهيم ضرورةات بينها، وتطوير منهاج فلسطيني يعالج التربية الدينية المشتركة بين الديانتين واحترام الاختلافالمسيحية والإسلامية، ويركز على مفاهيم الحوار، والتسامح، والاحترام .وثانياﹰ :ضرورة أن تطور لتي تعمل في مجال حوار الأديان، أو العيش المشترك بين مؤسسات المجتمع المدني، تلك االمسيحي-ج ومشاريع تهدف إلى تأمين بيئة منظمة وآمنة للمسيحيين الإسلامي، تطوير براموالمسلمين وتقوية اللحمة بينهما .ثالثاﹰ :ضرورة تركيز الحكومة أو السلطة الفلسطينية من خلال م المواطنة والتعددية بالاعتماد على وثيقة إستقلال فلسطينسلطاتها الثلاث على مفاهي .ورابعاﹰ : تلفزيونية محلية تعالج تحديات العيش المشترك المسيحيتطوير برامج -الإسلامي .وخامساﹰ :على رجال الدين المسيحيين والمسلمين تشجيع رعاياهم على الانفتاح والاختلاط بالآخر، بهدف كسر الحواجز ، والحد من الصور النمطية التي يحملها الواحد عن الآخر

The importance of Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour lies in their religious pluralism. They have the highest concentration of Christians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Accordingly, there is ample opportunity for mixing between Christians and Muslims in the areas of study, work and accommodation, and even in public life. Since there is a long history on the efficacy of co-existence of Christians and Muslims, and another history of conflicts between the two of them, it is important to recognize the challenges that face Christians and Muslims living together, and identify the role of civil society organizations in the face of these challenges and learn how they can strengthen the Christian –Muslim relationship in wider Bethlehem community. For this purpose, the researcher had to study and analyze the most important elements that have maintained the fabric of Palestinian Christians and Muslims throughout the history, as well as the causes that led to disagreements between the followers of Islam and Christianity in the Greater Bethlehem area. This research project is very essential at this time, when the Palestinian society is looking forward to the establishment of a Palestinian state and seeks to build the social fabric in all its tracks, with regard to religious and intellectual pluralism, caste, and social development. This study deals with the relations between Christians and Muslims in an attempt to maintain and cement positive traditions, as well as to offer objective and constructive criticism to describe and assess this experience to minimize the negative aspects in this relationship. Additionally, the study focuses on the principles of respecting differences and religious pluralism as essential elements in Palestinian society, which has diverse intellectual and ideological convictions. Furthermore, the Palestinian experience of Christians and Muslims living together is considered as a valid example to the Western world which began to feel the need to learn and access this experience, because of the increase in the number of Muslim immigrants, including Arabs, to the Western countries, which have led to some tension in the relations between the citizens there. The descriptive approach in conducting his research, previous studies were reviewed, two different approaches were adopted to obtain information on the practical aspect of the study, namely: questionnaires and interviews. Four reviewers had their comments on the questionnaire and the interview questions: Fr. Jamal Khader (Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Religious Studies at Bethlehem University), Dr. Yousif Hrimi (Teacher of Islamic religious education at several local universities), Mr. Fuad Giacaman (Director of the Arab Educational Institute), and Dr. Sami Adwan (Teacher of Education at the University of Bethlehem). In addition, Mr. Mohammad Zawahra, a statistical analyst, examined the validity and reliability of the questionnaire and executed the statistical treatment by using a program of statistical packages (SPSS). Finally, Mr. Tahseen Yaqeen, Head of the Editorial Department at the Center for Curriculum of the Ministry of Education edited the thesis. و One of the main findings of the research is that fanaticism is considered one of the most important challenges that face Christians and Muslims living together in Bethlehem, while the religious discourse in mosques and churches is considered the least important challenge. Furthermore, the concept of citizenship is found to be one of the most important values that the civil society organizations have deepened successfully. On the other hand, the concept of dialogue was considered the least successful by these institutions. For the Christians in particular, the security chaos and the internal conflict between Hamas and Fatah is the most important challenge. Also, the inter-religious mixed marriages are one of the most important challenges facing adolescents in Bethlehem. And, in general, highly educated people have crystallized ideas about the other, and have become rather less influenced with the dialogue with the other. Finally, the middle-income people are more affected by the provocations of the West towards the other, while low-income people are not as influenced by ideologies because they are just trying to find work and support their families. The study offered several recommendations. First of all, teachers should promote the concepts of respecting differences and strengthening similarities between the followers of the religions. The Ministry of Education should develop the Palestinian curriculum, especially the civic and religious education, to focus on the concepts of dialogue, tolerance, and respect. Secondly, the civil society organizations that work in the field of interfaith dialogue and promote Christians and Muslims living together, should develop programs and projects that aim at creating a safe environment for both the Christians and Muslims and to strengthen cohesion between them. Thirdly, the Palestinian Government or Authority, through its three branches of executive, legislative and judicial authority, should focus on the concepts of citizenship, pluralism expressed in the Palestinian Document of Independence. Fourthly, it is very important to develop local television programs that deal with the several challenges of Christians and Muslim living together showing positive solutions to overcome the challenges. Finally, the Christian and Muslim clergies should encourage their followers to open up and mix with the other, in order to break down barriers and reduce the stereotypes held against one another
