الملخص

This research, investigates the process of the Algerian culture through time, and seeksto give an evaluative review of it. Then this study will go over and will try to digdeeper and deeper, for the underlying causes of our cultural problems, focusing on thehistorical process of this problem, since Algeria when it was subjected to the ottomanrule and the French colonization until the aftermath of the independence, through aninductive approach. In this research, the most useful written facts are varied in threetypes: history and culture books, articles from various periodicals, written testimonies,Social and Anthropology works. Relying on these interdisciplinary sources was,absolutely, very necessary to bring to light and accomplish this study. In doing so, wewere obliged to use historical sources of Algerian, French and other authors.Unfortunately, For lack of time, the method used in this master thesis is limited to thehistorical method, however, the sources used, were first chosen carefully, to then besubjected to my critical analysis. In this study, we would like to pose and answer thequestion of what is the nature of the Algerian cultural problem, in an orderly andcustomary manner, relying on the approach of scientific research in the investigationand induction and draw conclusions.
