- The present work concerns the research of the evaluation of the allelopathic effect of field mustard (Sinapis arvensis) on the germination and growth of oats (Avena sativa). For this, biological tests are carried out to test their potential allelopathic on the germination and growth of oat seeds. Solutions of different concentrations (25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) are prepared from the leaf and root part of Sinapis arvensis. We tested these solutions on oat seeds at a temperature of 22.5 ° C ± 1. The allelopathic effect of these solutions is much more evident in the development of the seedlings, especially on the roots. Their allelopathic effects increase when the concentration of solutions increases.
