The study about Critical study of ( METONYMY ) and the way which taken in modern Criticism . The Metonymy system which considered one of the most effective systems in literary texts that giveit vitality , richness and strength in meaning in the same time , and remote the direct meaning and more to deep in spirical evidences , which make the receiver feels with strong desire to discovers that deep evidence . and then the Metonymy represent potential power , that uses by modern critics in their style of modern criticism , and we find in this research the term Metonymy has difficult meaning because of particular languages and linguistics groups that belong to creativity language . there fore the term of Metonymy formed in each language in the world of linguistics in different way , that come with characteristics of thin king The western literature deals with Metaphor in general way of privacy so that their structural style different from Arabicliterature for many consideration and one of most important interference between the concepts which was one of reasons that falling of trans lators in mistakes of trans late term Metonymy to Metaphor and that not so far of Arabic concept and this terminvolves all relation ship of Metaphor except the relation between ( to tality and partiality ) which separate by another term is ( SYNECDOCHE ) so the Metonymy in Arabic concept has special functions and possibilities relatedwith creativity language . In Jaccopeantheory which comment in Laphsia disease that represent first step in literary speech production through this study that across all rules and description spread in old literary speech , which hindered the literary speech development because of the logical sight . As the research exposes the development concept of Metonymy to wards symbol to describe this stage of Metonymy development by this concept as reaction to get of analysis linguistics restriction of modern critics . more over the research exposed clear features in Metonymy as structure refer to symbols pattern which make it come so close to concept of modern symbol language , which use as kind of abbreviation that tend to it s natural structural and richness meaning . That come close to Metonymical procedures , so the Metonymy stand to its meaning of richness achieve separation principle which act on achievement of economic linguistic factor , consist of certain cultural pattern . That described as a tool of communicative depend on customs and description , so the social custom forms important factor in the production of meaning in each clear structure .
