الملخص

Different methods, namely co-precipitation, solution combustion and sol-gel were used to synthesize Mn3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) at different temperatures. The synthesized Mn3O4 Nano powder by co-precipitation (P200, P250 and P300) and by solution combustion (250 and 300oC) were used as electrodes for supercapacitor. The synthesized Mn3O4 NPs were consumed to deposit on fluorine-doped SnO2 (FTO) coated glass substrates by using the doctor blade technique. sol-gel (S200, S250 and S300) were used to be deposited on the FTO-coated glass substrates by using spin coating technique to be used as electrodes for supercapacitor. All the dimensions of the prepared electrodes were 1.5 × 1.5 cm2. The Thermogravimetric (TGA) was used to analyze the material decomposition and thermal stability through mass change as a function of temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD), the Scanning Electron Microcopy (SEM), High resolution-transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). were used to study the structure, particle morphology and element analysis of the Mn3O4 nanopowder, respectively. The optical absorption properties were analyzed by using UV-Vis spectroscopy, luminescent properties were examined by photoluminescent (PL) spectroscopy. Three-electrode cell was used to study the electrochemical performance for the Mn3O4 NPs working electrode where the Ag/AgCl and Na2SO4 were used as a reference electrode and an electrolyte, respectively. TGA analysis of Mn3O4 NPs based sol-gel has been, only, reported with xerogels, produced using small amount of the methanolic solution of manganese acetate tetrahydrate Mn(CH3COO)3.4H2O, which was dried in oven at 100oC. The TGA result indicated that, the crystallization of the particles occurs at about 300oC. No mass loss was seen at temperatures higher than 310oC, therefore, no phase change was expected to occur at high temperatures up to highest tested temperature of 800oC. The brownish ashes obtained by co-precipitation method at 60oC using manganese sulphate (MnSO4·4H2O) as a precursor was ground gently using a pestle and a mortar to get a fine powder and then dried at 100oC. The TGA result revealed that crystallization of the particles occurred at about 250oC. No mass loss was seen at temperatures higher than 250oC, therefore, no phase change was expected to occur at high temperatures up to highest tested temperature of 800oC. The brownish ashes obtained by solution combustion method at 250oC using stoichiometric proportion of Mn(CH3COO)3.4H2O and urea (CH4N2O) were cooled down to room temperature and then were ground gently using a pestle and a mortar to get a fine powder. The TGA result indicated that crystallization of the particles occurred at about 300oC. No mass loss was seen at temperatures higher than 300oC, therefore, no phase change was expected to occur at high temperatures up to highest tested temperature of 800oC. XRD patterns for the synthesized samples (S200, S250 and S300), (P200, P250 and P300) and (C250 and C300), showed a tetragonal hausmannite structure (space group:141/and, a = 5.764 ?, c = 9.472?, JCPDS NO.24-0734). The average crystallite size for all examined samples was 25-55 nm. XRD patterns of the S200 and C250 samples revealed the formation of MnO phase. SEM micrographs for the examined films (S250, P250, C250) showed random distribution of Mn3O4 nano-grains on the entire substrate surface with voids. On the other hand, The SEM micrographs of three films showed few cracks on the top surface, which could be due to its high thickness. HR-TEM picture for the S250, consisted of a network of nanoparticles with tetragonal shape of size ranged from 35 to 69 nm. Whereas, the HR-TEM picture for the P250, consisted of a network of nanoparticles with tetragonal shape of size ranged from 11 to 85 nm. HR-TEM picture of the sample C250 showed the presence of large agglomerates with length of abou
