IRRIGATION TRADITIONNELLE PAR LES FOGGARAS DANS L’OASIS D’EZZAOUIA (IN GHAR – IN SALAH)

الملخص

Nous examinons dans cette thèse les foggaras de l’oasis d’Ezzaouia dans la région d’In Ghar de la wilaya d’In Salah. Lors de nos visites effectuées dans les oasis d’In Ghar durant la période 2016-2022, nous avons découvert dans la petite oasis d’Ezzaouia située à 2 kilomètres au sud-ouest de l’oasis d’In Ghar, un système d’irrigation millénaire composé de 5 foggaras. Après des enquêtes auprès des propriétaires des foggaras et les services d’hydrauliques nous avons conclu que ce patrimoine n’a jamais fait l’objet d’un inventaire ou d’une étude sérieuse. Selon nos enquêtes auprès des propriétaires des foggaras, le débit total de ces foggaras avoisine la valeur 50 l/min pour une longueur totale de la galerie égale à 1,5 kilomètres. Contrairement aux foggaras d’In Ghar qui captent les eaux du Continental Intercalaire, celles de l’oasis Ezzaouia captent les eaux de l’Erg Ezzaouia. Ces foggaras d’un débit appréciable et d’une eau de très bonne qualité, se dégradent d’une année à l’autre. Si des opérations de réhabilitations ne seront pas programmes dans à court terme, on risque de perdre ce patrimoine hydraulique. We examine in this modest thesis, the foggaras Ezzaouia’s oasis in the region In Ghar of the wilaya In Salah. During our visits carried out in there, during the year 2016-2022. we discovered in the small oasis of Ezzaouia located 2 kilometers southwest of the oasis of In Ghar, a thousand-year-old irrigation system composed of 5 foggaras. After inquiries with the owners of the foggaras and the hydraulic services we concluded that this heritage has never been the subject of an inventory or a serious study. According to our inquiries with the owners of the foggaras, the total flow of these foggaras approaches the value of 50l/min for a total length of the gallery equal to 1,5 kilometer. Unlike the foggaras of In Ghar which captures the waters of the Continental , those of the Ezzaouia oasis capture the waters of the Erg Ezzaouia. These foggaras of an appreciable flow and a water of very good quality, degrade from one year to another. If rehabilitation operations are not programmed in the short term, we risk losing this hydraulic heritage
