ترجمة الملخص

The current research aimed to identify the degree of availability of the necessary professional competence among special education teachers, in addition to verifying the possibility of the existence of statistically significant differences between the opinions of parents of children about the degree to which they possess this professional competence according to gender variables. The two students used the descriptive approach as it was considered the appropriate method for the study, and a questionnaire consisting of (28) items, prepared by the two students, was adopted and applied to a sample of (56) parents whose children study at the Psycho-Pedagogical Center for Mentally Disabled Children in Tijalabine, Boumerdes Province, among them ( 20) males and (26) females. The data were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program, which consisted of calculating arithmetic means and standard deviation, and a T-test to calculate discriminant validity and the Carl Pearson correlation coefficient, as well as the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The study concluded that:1. The degree of availability of the necessary professional competencies of the special education teacher from the point of view of parents whose children study at the Psycho-Pedagogical Center for Mentally Disabled Children in Tijalabine, Boumerdes Province, was high.2. There are no statistically significant differences between the opinions of parents about the degree of availability of the necessary professional competencies among the special education teacher at the Psycho-Pedagogical Center for Mentally Disabled Children in Tijalabine, Boumerdes Province, due to the gender variable.
