ترجمة الملخص

This research aimed at studying and analyzing the da’awah efforts made by Sheikh Muhammad Daud al-Fatani through the study of his biography, his intellectual position, his authorships, his career in da’awah, and his thoughts and methodology.The researcher collected data of biography of Sheikh by adopting historical approach of the biography of Sheikh,systematic and descriptive in advocacy efforts, and analytical approach to clarify some of the issues, as the graduation of the conversations that quoted Sheikh.The findings of this research are as follows:1-Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ismail Daud al-Fatani, know by the name of “Sheikh Nik Mat Saghir”, was born in the village of Pulo Duyong Terengganu, Malaysia in 1844 A.D. and died in Makkah, in 1951 A.D. where he was buried at the Ma’ala cemetery. He authored various books such as: “wishah al-afrah Isbah al-falah”, “matla’ al-badrayn wa majam’a al-bahrain”, “al-bahr al wafi wal nahr al safi”, etc.2-He preached the pure Aqidah, sticking to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah of the Prophet, and the tradition of the Sunnah and Jama’ah. This covered the creeds of Islam and Iman, the application of Islamic Shari’ah and the good morals.3-The main preaching methods that Sheikh Muhammad used included: Sermons, written materials, the good model insisting on suing the best method in each circumstance.The impact of Sheikh Muhammad’s da’awah –May Allah forgive him-on his students and community was strong at the intellectual dimension as well as at the practical and behavioral dimension.
