الملخص

Ce travail a été réalisé au sein du service d’oncologie du CHU Nedir Mohamed et consisté à en une « étude statistique rétrospective » portant sur les cas de cancer colorectal (CCR) diagnostiqués durant l’année 2022. L’étude visait à explorer les caractéristiques démographiques, cliniques, ainsi que les facteurs de risque associés aux patients atteints de CCR dans la wilaya de Tizi-Ouzou. Un échantillon de « 174 dossiers » a été analysé, incluant des informations telles que l’âge, le sexe, le type de cancer, le stade tumoral, les antécédents familiaux et certaines habitudes alimentaires. Les résultats montrent que 27 % des cas se situaient dans la tranche d’âge de 66 à 75 ans, ce qui confirme que le CCR touche principalement les personnes âgées. Une légère prédominance masculine (66 %) a été observée, en accord avec les tendances épidémiologiques mondiales. Environ 81 % des patients avaient des antécédents familiaux de CCR, un facteur de risque bien établi dans la littérature scientifique. L'étude a également révélé que la majorité des patients (56,5 %) ont été diagnostiqués à un stade avancé (stade IV), soulignant l'importance du dépistage précoce pour améliorer le pronostic.

The aim of the study was to explore the demographic and clinical characteristics, as well as the risk factors associated with CRC patients in the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou. A sample of "174 files" was analysed, including information such as age, sex, type of cancer, tumour stage, family history and certain dietary habits.the results show that 27% of cases were in the 66 to 75 age group, confirming that CRC mainly affects the elderly. A slight male predominance (66%) was observed, in line with global epidemiological trends. Around 81% of patients had a family history of CRC, a risk factor that is well established in the scientific literature. The study also revealed that the majority of patients (56.5%) were diagnosed at an advanced stage (stage IV), underlining the importance of early detection to improve prognosis.
