الملخص

Notre travail s'intéresse à la vulnérabilité à la pollution et à la protection de la ressource en eau de la région du chott chergui et porte plus précisément sur la zone du périmètre irrigué de située au Nord de Ain Skhouna. Les objectifs fixés à ce travail consistent d’abord à étudier l’aptitude des eaux de l'Aa léno-Bathonien à l’irrigation et leur impact sur la nappe du Tertiaire dans le périmètre d’irrigation de puis de définir les zones sensibles à la contamination à travers la cartographie de la vulnérabilité à la pollution des eaux de cette même nappe.

Our work focuses on the vulnerability to pollution and protection of water resources in the region of Chott and more specifically in the area of the irrigated perimeter of located north of Ain Skhouna. The objectives of this work are, first, to study the ability of waters Bathonian-irrigation and its impact on groundwater in the scope of the Tertiary Irrigation Zraguet then define sensitive areas contamination through mapping the vulnerability to pollution of the waters of that table.The first part of our work is based on the literature review, the general characteristics of the region and the more specific the Chott Chergui, the in the region to achieve the water balance of the watershed, geology and to describe the main formations encountered, define the main aquifers and try to define their hydrodynamic and aspects.We then interested in the ability of waters - irrigation with application of irrigation scheme Daiet Zraguet. After presenting the general data of the region of Ain Skhouna and scope of Daiet Zraguet, characteristics of water drilling C2 and C6 and their ability to irrigation are discussed. The approach then focuses on the physical and chemical soil characteristics and the correlation of salinity of irrigation water with that of soil.The impact of irrigation water is then examined through a methodological approach focused on vulnerability assessment methods to the modified DRASTIC pollution and GOD, who achieved the thematic maps, the final maps and map sensitivity to irrigation and the map of contamination with the different features offered by the geographic information system GIS 'and methods. To conclude this section, the various sources of pollution, whether natural or , are listed and discussed.After this work, it that despite its necessity, irrigation in some areas of the perimeter is a serious threat for the different aquifers Chott Chergui, particularly the Tertiary aquifer level in relation to surface. A major risk of contamination and pollution of groundwater of good chemical quality is a concern in the short and medium term. Also, if in some areas it will completely avoid irrigation, others will require drainage of soils, crops tolerant to salinity and a control of soil and water to reduce the risk of infiltration and desalinization
