ترجمة الملخص

The comparison with Arabic is due to two main reasons: The first is that both languages , Arabic and Akkadian , belong to a single tree having its origin in the Arabian Peninsula and subdivided into a large number of languages.these languages are called the family of "Arabite languages". Secondly : the fact that Arabic had retained most of the features of the mother tongue, phonetic and grammatical. The present study depends on two important works dealing with the grammar of Akkadian language namely the German Scholar Von Soden's book" Grundriss Der Akkadischen Grammatik" and H. Garde's book" A Grammar of Akkadian". The main Arabic works contain Sibawayh's book "Alkitab" and "Sharh Almofassal" of Ibn Yaeesh and other works . This thesis has been divided in to three chapters . The first chapter is under the title (singularity) which deals with the meaning of the singular linguistically and idiomatically.It is subdivided into four sections.The first section studies the singular of the masculine and feminine of the nouns according to their divisions.The second one deals with the weak and strong nouns. While the third section has dealt with a singular of the derived noun with its seven types . The second one is about the dual indicating the singular and the plural indication the singular. The second chapter tackles the dual and its meaning linguistically and idiomatically and it is subdivided into four sections. The first section explains the formation of regular dual in its two kinds, strong and weak. As for the second one, it comes across the irregular dual which contains the hidden, demonstrative and relative nouns. The third section gives an analysis of the nouns related to dual and this section is subdivided into three secondary sections. The first one is the singular indicating the dual, the second the plural indicating the dual and the last one is the indication of dual according to the pre or post position. The third chapter came under the heading "combination" in which the linguistic and idiomatic meaning of the noun is fully explained. It is also subdivided into four sections, the first one studies the masculine plural and its formation from strong and weak verbs. The second one is about the feminine noun and its formation and conditions and formation from both strong and weak nouns. The third section is highlighting the 'broken plural" and its formation.Finally the fourth section which deals with the indication of plural is subdivided into three sections. The first section gives the indeclinable noun and the second one is the common noun and the last one is the indication of the plural by the dual. This study ends with a conclusion in which all the final results are stated.
