ترجمة الملخص

This study aims to test the Syrian pound exchange rate fluctuations on the share holding companies listed on the Damascus securities exchange which come to 22 companies.The four major currencies that compose the basket of currencies were chosen to determine the Syrian pound exchange rate against other currencies .This study has covered the monthly data of the time period extending from 1-1-2010 up to 31/12/2016.The results of this study had showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the price of shares of listed companies in the Damascus securities its index and the price of Syrian pound exchange rate against the currencies of the countries under study. However this relationship was weak , and the rate of the Syrian pound exchange against these currencies didn't have a big impact on the market index. And the reason of that can be traced the impact of a number of factors on the price of the shares of companies listed in Damascus securities exchange
