الملخص

La signature architecturale à pour longtemps été une stratégie de régénération urbaineinvestie après un déclin touchant la ville principalement dans ses dimensions économique etsociale, en effet il s’agit d’une reconversion de l’image de la ville en lui impulsant unenouveauté marquante la détachant d’une tradition architecturale ayant perduré et l’ayantimmergé dans l’ordinaire qui devient de plus en plus monotone et rejeté par la société faisantdésormais de l’esthétique une de ses aspirations majeures. Ainsi la signature par extravagances,réalisée principalement par le biais d’un équipement public, est fondée sur trois principesl’originalité, l’authenticité et la singularité permettant de produire un emblème qui représenterala ville au niveau mondial et renforcera son attraction touristique et sa compétitivité au côté desgrandes métropoles.Dans la ville de Bejaia la crise écologique générée par la négligence des ressources naturelleset la destruction de la biodiversité s’associe à une crise identitaire stylistique qui s’estdéveloppée à travers les années qui ont suivi l’indépendance, dans l’absence d’un stylearchitectural où l’enveloppe du bâtiment représente une copie déformée des styles historiqueslaissant ainsi le paysage urbain sombrer dans la monotonie.Notre présent travail se porte alors sur la liaison de ces deux axes et démontre lapossibilité d’articulation entre écologie et extravagance architecturale pour un renouveau et unmarquage réfléchi traitant à la fois la crise esthétique et écologique tout en cherchant un projeturbain pouvant assurer les deux. Ainsi la méthodologie suivie s’appuie sur trois approches :l’approche conceptuelle pour l’élaboration d’un socle théorique, l’approche comparative etBenchmarking pour tirer les meilleurs pratiques de projets de signature concrétisés et enfinl’approche analytique pour une meilleure intégration d’un projet de signature écosystémique ausein de la ville de Bejaia.The architectural signature has been for a long time a strategy of urban regenerationinvested after a decline affecting the city mainly in its economic and social dimensions. In fact,it is a reconversion of the image of the city by giving it a striking novelty, detaching it from anarchitectural tradition that has endured and had it immersed in the ordinary, which is becomingmore and more monotonous and rejected by society, henceforth making aesthetics one of itsmajor aspirations. Thus the signature by extravagances, carried out mainly by public equipment,is based on three principles: originality, authenticity and singularity allowing producing anemblem, which will represent the city at the international level and will reinforce its touristattraction and its competitiveness alongside major cities.In the city of Bejaia, the ecological crisis generated by the neglect of natural resources and thedestruction of biodiversity is associated with a stylistic identity crisis that has developedthrough the years following independence, in the absence of an architectural style where thebuilding envelope represents a distorted copy of historical styles letting the urban landscapesink in monotony.Our research focuses on the connection of these two axes and demonstrates thepossibility of articulation between ecology and architectural extravagance for a revival and athoughtful marking dealing with both the aesthetic and ecological crisis while seeking an urbanproject that can ensure both of them. Thus, the methodology followed is based on threeapproaches: the conceptual approach for the elaboration of a theoretical base, the comparativeapproach and Benchmarking to pull the best practices from concrete signature projects andfinally the analytical approach for a better integration of an ecosystem signature project withinthe city of Bejaia.
