The rapid increase of the population and consumption rate led to increase the demand for agricultural products, that accompanied with limited crops and fruit trees in Lattakia. So, it was necessary to increase the agricultural production by the reclamation of new lands.The reclamation of the rocky and terrain lands projects have a positive effects concerning the agricultural production. This research aimed to study the costs of rocky and terrain reclamation processes in “Jableh”, to identify some economic effects , which were caused by the land reclamation, and find out the extant of the contribution of the state support. The research included 70 farmers in ten different villages in “Jableh”, where they were given 70 questionnaires to fill. The results showed an increase in farmers' income and an improvement in their living conditions, due to the increase of cultivated lands resulting in improved living conditions for a large proportion of farmers (74,3)%. The results also showed an increase in the the farmers after reclamation operations with 53%, and an increase in the proportion of fruit trees and field crops, especially olive trees which increased by 34.3%, tobacco by 40%. Most of farmers (70%) emphasized that reclamation areas led to ease the using automated equipment.
