الملخص

Le but de ce travail est d’abord de présenter la formulation mathématique des paliers à épaisseur defilm variable et de montrer la complexité de résolution qui en découle. Ensuite, différentes configurationsde variation d’épaisseur sont étudiées. Les effets sur les paramètres principaux suivants sont étudiés : larépartition de la pression dans le patin, la charge portante et la raideur équivalente. A la fin de ce travail onmontre que la configuration divergente offre des performances meilleures que la configuration classique etcelle à épaisseur de film convergente.

ترجمة الملخص: The aim of this work is first to present the mathematical formulation of bearings with variable film thickness and to show the complexity of resolution that results from it. Then, different thickness variation configurations are studied. The effects on the following main parameters are studied: the pressure distribution in the pad, the bearing load and the equivalent stiffness. At the endof this work,it is shown that the divergent configuration offers better performance than the conventional configuration and that with converging film thickness
