الملخص

In real-time communication such as multimedia and videoconferencing,there is delay in transmitted messagesThe Objective of the thesis is to study and execute the protocol Virtual-TimeCarrier Sensed Multiple Access (VTCSMA) which is used to minimize themissing transmitted messages.In this thesis we study Multimedia operating system, Real-Time OperatingSystem, Communications in Real –time and we use (C++) program to executethe code that is established to the VTCSMA algorithm and then we study the rateof the real time clock to the virtual time clock and observe the results for thevarious values of the rate.We see that when the rate increase the missing messages decrease and theresults are identical to the results obtained mathematically.We conclude that the protocol (VTCSMA) is minimizing the missingtransmitted messages.
