الملخص

Title of thesis: The Sources Of Knowledge and TheirImpact on Development and Peace (Case Study: South Darfur2003-2013 model). The significance of this study lies on the fact thatknowledge plays a decisive role on the social change that helpsin liberating people of the area (at least to a considerable extent)from severe struggles and bloodshed. The study aims at stressing the positive role of peaceculture in creating the basis for a permanent development. The study employs the descriptive – analytic method aswell as the historical. Some of the important results arrived at are: that there is aclear co-relation between knowledge resources on the one handand peace, development on the other hand. Also there is a co-relation between sources of knowledge(and information) on the one hand and peace agreements inSouth Darfur. The thesis recommends that the spreading of peace cultureshould be emphasized. Also it is recommended that sources of knowledge are tobe stressed as a foundation for the establishment of peace anddevelopment.
