The purpose of the study attempts to analyze and identify the role of civil society organizations in the formation of social capital and components of social capital in the north areas of the West Bank by measuring the effect of dimensions of (social relationships, trust and common trends); in addition to the demographic variables. This study was conducted on workers in the civil society organizations. A two-step random sample of 162 was selected for this study. SPSS application of Social Sciences and Multiple Regression Coefficient test and One Way ANOVA test were carried out to analyze data in order to get the final results. The findings showed that civil society organizations play a medium role in social capital formation; the findings also concluded the important dimensions of social capital in terms of (social relationships, trust and common trends). The results indicated by the civil society organizations according to the dimension of common trendsreceived high degree; the dimension of social relations received a medium degree and the dimension of confidence received a low degree.The recommendation for this study is to conduct more in depth research and analysis which involves the impact of other dimensions which aren't addressed in this study to determine the impact of the rest of the dimensions of social capital in the role played by civil society organizations. Provided, decision makers should draw clear policies that encourage volunteering within the society so this will become as part of the society behavior and values in order to achieve positive and a difference in the institutional work.The researcher noted while doing the exploratory study that a number of civil society organizations that carry legal licenses, but they do not exist in real life. Therefore, the researcher recommends of reconsideration of these organizations to fulfill its role
