AbstractThemainaimofthisworkistheuseofmeso-porousmaterialscontainingsilicafortheadsorbingoftheorganicpollutant(dyeRhodamine6G).varioustechniquesofcharacterizationareexploited.Alltheresultsobtainedshowthatthemeso-porousmaterialoftypeMCM-41hasanorganizedhexagonalstructurewithacidcharacteristics.Wehave,carriedouttestsofadsorptionoftheRhodamine6GonthesolidsifMCM-41andAl-MCM-41.Thus,westudiedtheeffectsofvariousparameters.TheobtainedresultsshowoverallthattheadsorptionspeedisnotinfluencedbythepHandthecomparativestudyshowsthatadsorptionisfavorableintheneutralenvironment,thekineticsofadsorptionrevealsthat60minofcontactissufficienttotheadsorption.TheisothermsofadsorptionshowthatthemodelofFreundlichisthemostrepresentativeformodelingthisadsorption.Keywords:meso-porousmaterials,Rhodamine6G,organicpolluant,MCM-41
