this chapter, the researcher highlights The Palestinian public diplomacy as an important instrument for international advocacy, asserting Palestinian rights, and countering dominant narratives that tend to blur the realities of occupation and apartheid. In contrast to traditional diplomacy, which is based on negotiations between states, Palestinian public diplomacy operates by reaching out to audiences around the world, and using among other things, the media, international institutions, cultural expression and grassroots activism to enhance Palestinian voices.This chapter starts with defining public diplomacy by focusing on the significance of public diplomacy inthe Palestinian context in terms of shaping world opinion in favour of Palestine and acquiring the legal recognition for the state of Palestine. It discusses the historical evolution of Palestinian diplomatic efforts in-built, from the post Nakba period to the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and through to the diplomatic strategies deployed following the Oslo Accords and the rise of digital activism. The chapter further investigates important strategies of media advocacy, engagement with the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, cultural diplomacy (working on behalf of Palestinian solidarity through art and literature), as well as global solidarity movements.Furthermore, this chapter examines the barriers Palestinian public diplomacy encounters such as media bias, digital platform censorship, geopolitical constraints set by Western powers, political divisions among Palestinians, and Israeli control Palestinian communication channels. And yet, Palestinian public diplomacy continues to be an effective instrument for mobilizing international support, promoting legal mechanisms for accountability and exposing the Palestinian struggle for justice to the world.Doubtless, this is a widely under-explored issue, and by analyzing both the successes and limitations of Palestinian public diplomacy, this chapter provides a wide understanding of how advocacy, legal strategies, and media engagement shape the broader struggle for Palestinian self-determination in a more networked world.
