الملخص

Les littoraux algériens sont riches d’une histoire maritime pluriséculaire dont les héritages sont constitués à la fois de biens matériels (bâtiments, monuments, infrastructures portuaires, éléments flottants…) et de biens immatériels (rites, qualifications techniques, esprit marin…)Le patrimoine maritime est un élément primordial et souvent oublié du développement des littoraux, contrairement au autre patrimoine. Ainsi, les ports historiques se voient marginalisés et non pris en considération dans les projets d’aménagement côtiers, or qu’ils disposent de potentialités touristiques et culturelles, qui pourraient jouer un rôle considérable dans la reconstruction des littoraux et la transmission du patrimoine.A ce titre ; le vieux port de Bejaia riche par ces potentialités naturelles et historiques qui lui permet d’être une destination touristique nationale, pourra attirer chaque année un nombre très important de touristes. Aujourd’hui le vieux port souhaite mettre en valeur et exploiter ses potentialités .Malgré ces richesses, capacités et potentialités le vieux port reste un espace sensible et consacré à l’activité commercial ; c’est une vraie perle délaissée qui n’est pas pris à sa juste valeur et demeure par conséquent comme patrimoine méconnu.C’est pourquoi dans cette recherche il est question de réfléchir à la mise en place et l’application des stratégies cohérentes pour la protection, la régénération et la mise en valeur du patrimoine maritime en général et du patrimoine portuaire en particulier. Aussi de définir les actions à entreprendre en coopération avec toutes les forces intéressées (les experts et le grand public) par la préservation de ce patrimoine culturel.

Algerian coastlines are rich in a centuries-old maritime history whose legacies are constituted of both material goods (buildings, monuments, port infrastructures, floating elements ...) and immaterial goods (rites, technicalqualifications, marine spirit)The maritime heritage is a primordial and often overlooked element of littoral development, unlike the other heritage. Thus, the historic ports are marginalized and not taken into account in coastal development projects,but they have potential tourism and cultural potential, which could play a significant role in the reconstruction of coastlines and transmission of heritage.As such; the old port of Bejaia rich by these natural and historical potentialities which allows it to be a national tourist destination, will be able to attract every year a very important number of tourists. Today the old port wishes to highlight and exploit its potentialities. Despite these riches, capacities and potentialities the old port remainsa sensitive space and devoted to the commercial activity; it is a real lost pearl that is not taken to its true value and therefore remains as an unknown heritage.That is why in this research it is a question of thinking about the implementation and the application of coherent strategies for the protection, the regeneration and the development of the marine heritage in general and the port heritage in particular. Also to define the actions to be undertaken in cooperation with all the interested forces (the experts and the general public) by the preservation of this cultural heritage.
