Development of Web Style Prototype for Web Requirement Engineering

الملخص

Web engineering, the discipline concerned with the development of quality web applications,has been receiving a lot of attention in the recentyears with the increasing number of web applications being undertaken by many organizations. Requirement engineering concerned with the process of establishing the services that the customer requires from a system and the constraints under which it operates and is developed being an integral and crucial phase in traditional software engineering also necessitates a careful consideration in web engineering. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a general purpose visual modeling language for specifying, constructing and documenting systems, which can be used in all major application domains and implementation platforms. In this thesis a web style diagram is proposed to address the style requirements of any web site or application as a dimension in web requirement engineering. This diagram will be added to the user experience modeling of web applications in UML. In addition, acomplete WREML (Web Requirement Engineering with UML) modelis proposed to cover all the requirement engineering steps required forthe analysis ofweb applications using UML, starting from conventional use case and sequence diagrams and reaching to web specific user experience diagrams. The strength of the WREML is given by the fact that exclusively the UML notations are used. Furthermore the proposed web style diagram is added to the WREML model in order to provide an integral analysis model covering all requirement engineering aspects including style. Eventually a case study is conducted by analyzing a web application using the proposed WREML model and including the proposed web style diagram to highlight the importance of the proposed diagram and analysis model. The case study reveals the benefits of the WREML model in extracting the advantages of both conventional and web specific user experience modeling diagrams and overcoming the disadvantages of both to provide an optimum requirement analysis model, as conventional UML diagrams provide rich structural and behavioral analysis according to system functionality, while user experience diagrams enrich the analysis process from the web page interaction point of view. The case study also reveals the benefits of adding the proposed web style diagram to the requirement analysis process so the customer (institute requesting the web site or application) will be able to ensure that the resulting web site or application will meet their style identity.

هندسة الويب مبدأ يهتم بتطوير تطبيقات الويب عالية الجودة وهو يلقى الكثير من الاهتمام في السنوات الأخيرة مع تزايد عدد تطبيقات الويب التي تقوم بها العديد من المنظمات. هندسة المتطلبات التي تهتم بتحقيق الخدمات التي يطلبها الزبون من النظام و القيود التييعمل بها و يطور من خلالها النظام ,مرحلة رئيسية و حاسمة في هندسة البرامجيات التقليدية وهي ايضا تحتاج الى اهتمام دقيق في هندسة الويب. لغة النمذجة الموحدة (UML) هي لغة نمذجة مرئية متعددة الاغراض لتحديد و بناء و توثيق الانظمة التي يمكن استخدامها في جميع مجالا ت التطبيق الرئيسية ومنصات التنفيذ.في هذه الرسالة تم اقتراح مخطط النمطية للويب (Web Style Diagram) لتلبية المتطلبات النمطية للمواقع والتطبيقات للمؤسسات على شبكة الإنترنت كبعد جديد في مجال هندسة الويب. سيتم اضافة هذا المخطط لنمذجة تجربة المستخدم(User Experience Modeling) في لغة النمذجة الموحدة. اضافة الى ذلك تم اقتراح نموذج تحليل لهندسة متطلبات الويب باستخدام لغة النمذجة الموحدة (WREML) لتغطية كل خطوات هندسة المتطلبات الضرورية لتحليل انظمة الويب بدأ من مخطط (Use Case Diagram) و (Sequence Diagram)و انتهاءا بمخططات (User Experience Diagrams) الخاصة بالويب. ان قوة نموذج التحليل هذا تتمثل باستخدام رموز لغة النمذجة الموحدة حصريا. اضافة لذلك تم اضافة مخطط النمطية المقترح (Web Style Diagram) لنموذج التحليل (WREML) لتقديم نموذج تحليل متكامل يغطي كافة خطوات هند سة المتطلبات و التي من ضمنها النمطية. في نهاية المطاف تم إجراء دراسة عن طريق تحليل تطبيق ويب باستخدام نموذج التحليل (WREML)المقترح بالاضافة لمخطط النمطية للويب (Web Style Diagram) لتسليط الضوء على أهمية المخطط ونموذج التحليل المقترح. الدراسة كشفت عن فوائد ال (WREML) في استخراج مزايا مخططات طرق التحليل التقليدية و نمذجة تجربة المستخدم في لغة النمذجة الموحدة والتغلب على عيوب الطريقتين لتوفير نموذج امثل لتحليل المتطلبات. حيث ان المخططات التقليدية تعطي تحليلا قويا من الناحية البنيوية و السلوكية للنظام و مخططات تجربة المستخدم تعطي تحليلا قويا من ناحية التفاعل مع صفحة الويب. الدراسة ايضا كشفت عن فوائد اضافة مخطط النمطية للويب لمرحلة تحليل المتطلبات بحيث اصبح بامكان الزبون )الجهة الطالبة لموقع او تطبيق الويب( التأكد من أن موقع ويب أو التطبيق الناتج سيتطابق مع الهوية النمطية للمؤسسة.
