ترجمة الملخص

This study aimed at identifying theevaluation of school’s principal’s performance by the secondary schools teachers in Ramallah and Al_ Bireh Governorate in the light of the modern trends of school administration. The population of study included all teachers of secondary school’s in Ramallah and Al_ Bireh Governorate in the school year 2008/2009. it included (2795) teachers. A cluster random sample was chosen from among them comprising (386) teachers. The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (60) paragraphs distributed on six areas: teachers professional development, the students, the local community, human relationships, the school curriculum, and the school facilities. Its validity and reliability has been determined through appropriate statistical and educational techniques. The statistical processing of data has been made by the use of the statistical packages of social sciences (SPSS).The study indicated that theevaluation of the teachers about the performance of secondary school’s principal’s in Ramallah and Al- Bireh Governorate in the light of the modern trends of the schools administration has been at the high degree for the total degree and with arithmetic mean of (3.93) according to (Likart Fifth Scale). Also the study has not indicated any statistical indicative differences at the level of formula (0.05≥α) between the average responses of the study sample individuals due to:gender, experience years, and the scientific qualification of the teachers, whereas the results indicated differences of statistical meaning at the level of (0.05≥α) sign between the average of the responses of the individuals of the study sample, according to the supervising authority of the school, and it was in the interest of the government, and also according to the difference in the school locations, and it was in the interest of the village, and with the difference in the school gender, and it was in the interest of the boys and girls schools.In the light of the results the study recommended that the Palestinian Ministry Of Education principals to clarify the tasks required of the principal to perform in order to realize the professional development of teachers in addition to the manner by which these tasks can be carried out , and holding training courses to qualify the principals as to their conduct in the area of human relations, and the Palestinians Ministry of Education should provide training courses for principals concerning their role in enhancing the curriculum and the mechanic connecting it with the local environment
