ترجمة الملخص

Laser Technology found in the present Time repaid development and increased concern in the Medical spectrum including oral and maxillofacial surgery. The interact of Laser with Tissue attracted the researchers in dentistry science, and became as a therapeutic method in management of oral Benign and Malignant Tumor. Many researches were studied the advantages of Laser in reduction of post-operative complications .Research objects: 1.To Compare of the Healing process in the management of soft Benign Tumors and premalignant Lesions in the Oral Cavity between Using Laser CO2 and conventional Surgery. 2.Comparative of Laser Co2 effectiveness in reduction of post-operative complications versus traditional Surgery .Materials and Methods: A total of 39 patients, age between (20-65) year, from both gender (17 males and 22 females), and diagnosed with Benign tumorous Lesions or Leukoplakia on mucosa of the oral cavity. The Sample was divided in tow Groups:The first group (experimental group): included 18 patients were treated by vaporization or cut the lesion by Laser CO2.The second Group (control group): included 21 patients were treated by excision of lesions by conventional Surgery. The Wounds were observed until entire Healing, and the scales of Pain, Edema, Oral dysfunction, Bleeding, Infection after 24 hour, third day, and seventh day of surgical operative. Results :The Use of Laser CO2 reduced the Postoperative Complications versus the Conventional Surgery. The results showed statically significant differences in pain, edema, Oral dysfunction, Bleeding, Wound Healing Scales between the both groups .While there is no statically significant differences in infection scale. The operative Time in Laser surgery was bigger than in Conventional surgery, with statically significant differences between them .Conclusion: CO2 Laser is effective method in minimize the complications during Healing process after the management of soft Benign Tumors in oral cavity.
