ترجمة الملخص

This study attempts to investigate and identify the administrative practices of the directors of the directorates of education from the perspective of the heads of departments in the northern governorates in Palestine. The population of the study included (256) members. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire which consisted of fifty-three questions that covered five aspects,while its validity and reliability were tested by educational and statistical methods. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, SPSS. The results of the study revealed that the degree of the estimations of thesample members to the administrative practices was high, with average, (3.77), according to Like rt scale. Also, results revealed there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the estimations of the administrative practices of the directors of the directorates of education due to the variables of the study. Analysis of the study shows that 75.46% of department heads are satisfied with their directors’ practices; this reflects a mean of 3.77 at Likert pentagonal scale. Results also show no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the average estimates of the sample of the study and the practices of the directors. Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations are made. These include conducting future similar studies that look into hierarchical relationships but in different domains such as schools where principal-teacher relationship is investigated or studies that research administrative practices in conflict management, crisis management, and human relations.
