The study aimed to identify the role management of good governance in promoting obtained a large degree with a relative weight of (77.6%). Also, the social responsibility obtained a large degree with a relative weight of (75.0%). In addition to the existence of a direct and statistically significant correlation between the management of good governance in all its dimensions and social responsibility in the municipalities of the northern Gaza Strip. The presence of a statistically significant impact on the management of good governance (Rule of law, Accountability, Justice and Equality, Strategic Vsion) in promoting social responsibility. The absence of a statistically significant impact on the dimensions of good governance (Participation, Transparency, Responsiveness, Compatibility, Efficiency and Effectiveness) in promoting social responsibility. In addition to the existence of differences in the average responses of the study sample about the management of good governance due to the gender variable in favour of females. There are no differences in the average responses of the study sample about the management of good governance due to personal and occupational variables (age, educational qualification, job level, years of service, municipality). There are differences in the average responses of the study sample about social responsibility due to the gender variable in favour of females. There are no differences in the average responses of the study sample about social responsibility due to personal and occupational variables (age,educational qualification, job level, years of service, municipality).The study recommended directing Palestinian municipalities to implement the international standard (ISO 26000) related to social responsibility, and to communicate effectively with donors and funders to help the municipalities carry out their duties within the framework of social responsibility in a more comprehensive manner, in addition to searching for more mechanisms that enhance partnership between municipalities in order to achieve knowledge transfer. And experiences and expertise to help improve service quality as a form of commitment to the standards of good governance, and to develop effective and clear in dictators measure the extent to which the standards of good governance are applied in municipalities,so that they are compatible with the comprehensive national plan
