الملخص

In this work, we developed a mobile application to estimate the position in an indoorbuilding using WiFi signals. We applied the Fingerprinting method and implementedthe algorithm of Nearest K neighbor(KNN). This project allowed the development of alocalization system that minimized energy consumption, and the result of the project isan Android Application that works in all different Android Builds. The approachpresented in our project is based on the use of local networks, the use of signalmeasurements of these networks(RSSi), and the content of a local database. Using thisinformation and development tools, we developed a methodology, based on a powerfulalgorithm, to ensure a fine positioning.
