الملخص

L'objectif de ce travail étant de présenter une étude tribo-contact entre plaquette et disque de frein pour un véhicule automobile léger. Pour la modélisation géométrique des pièces et la stratégie de la simulation numérique de son problème mécanique et thermique repose l'exploitation du logiciel (SOLIDWORKS), ce dernier est conçu à la base de la méthode des éléments finis.Dans un premier temps, on aborde l'aspect mécanique de l'étude à travers le phénomène du contact avec frottement sec entre la plaquette et le disque de frein. On a analysées les contraintes (VonMises), les déformations et les déplacements génèrent sous l’effet de la pression de freinage sur la plaquette. Ensuite l'aspect thermique à travers la présentation des différents modes de transferts thermiques qui ont lieu dans un disque de frein en service en considérant la température et le flux de chaleur généré par frottement sec lors de contact.Donc, les analyses faites sur le comportement thermique et mécanique de ces prototypes permettent de bien faire un choix optimal et économique des solutions technologiques qui représentent les réelles pistes d’amélioration qui répondront au besoin de l’ingénieur en charge de la conception des disques de frein.

The objective of this work is to present a tribo-contact study between brake plate and disc for a light motor vehicle. For the geometric modeling of parts and the strategy of numerical simulation of its mechanical and thermal problem is based on the exploitation of the software (SOLIDWORKS), the latter is designed at the base of the finite element method.First, we address the mechanical aspect of the study through the phenomenon of contact with dry friction between the brake pad and the brake disc. Stress analysis (Von Mises), deformations and displacements are generated by the brake pressure on the pad. Then the thermal aspect through the presentation of the different modes of heat transfer that take place in a brake disc in service considering the temperature and the heat flow generated by dry friction during contact.Therefore, the analyses made on the thermal and mechanical behavior of these prototypes make it possible to make an optimal and economical choice of technological solutions that represent the real avenues of improvement that will meet the need of the engineer in charge of the brake disc design.
