الملخص
The effective evaluation for the quality of the medical educational programme requires reliable and valid outcome studies beside studies that identify the trainee’s perception toward the effectiveness of the educational training programme.This study was cross sectional study conducted among new graduates of the medical laboratory sciences attending Obstetric & Gynecological Hospital for training, Wad Medani city, and students of final year, Faculty of medical laboratory sciences, Gezira University,to evaluate their perceptions toward the effectiveness of the educational program practices.For the general year, out of 100 respondents that selected by probability sampling technique, 41% reported that the contents of the courses were not relevant to the education purposes, 55% felt that they received enough practical skills and 86% agreed with the statement for the need of adding some clinical experiences and knowledge to the courses contents. The evaluation of the the oretical contents revealed lower satisfaction rates with the courses contents of pharmacology,statistic and embryology when compared with a higher satisfaction rates to that of specialization courses in Medical Laboratory Sciences that included Parasitology, Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry and Haematology, (p < 0.05).For the evaluation of an in-service training programme,more than half of respondents reported that they satisfied with samples diversity and size thattested, covering of all laboratory departments, and sufficient practical skills that they gained. However, the practical training concluded in lower satisfaction rates when compared with that of theoretical aspects.Therefore, the study recommended raising of a quality level of in-service training programme in well-equipped medical laboratories.

- البرنامج التعليمي الطبي يتطلب دراسة المخرجات بجانب دراسات تعتمد اراء المتدربين فيما يخص فعالية البرامج التي تدربوا عليها. أجريت هذه الدراسة وسط حديثي التخرج من كلية المختبرات الطبية الذين حضروا لمستشفى النساء والتوليد بمدني لغرض التدريب وطلبة السنة الاخيرة كلية المختبرات الطبية جامعة الجزيرة للتقييم حول اراء هم لفعالية البرنامج التعليمي وجهازيتهم لممارسة العمل المختبري. فيما يختص مقرر الفصول الدراسية للسنة الاولي، من أصل 100مشارك، 41%منهم أحسوا بعدم مواكبة تلك المقررات للأهداف العامة للمنهج الدراسي،55%أعلنوا اكتسابهم المهارات الكافية بينما 86%منهم يرون بضرورة اضافة بعض المعلومات السريرية لمقرر السنة الأولي. وفيما يختص الجانب النظري، فنجد تدني في رضا المشاركين في محتوى وطرق التدريس لمقرر علم الصيدلة، علم الاحصاء ومقرر علم الأجنة وفيما نجد ارتفاع ملحوظ في رضا المشاركين فيما يختص مقررات التخصص في علوم المختبرات الطبية من علم الطفيليات، علم الأحياء الدقيقة، علم الكيمياء السرسرية وعلم أمراض الدم(p <0.05)،وأما فيما يختص بالتقييم العملي للمشاركين في الدراسة حيث ان أكثر من نصفهم أظهروا رضاهم في ما يختص تنوع وعدد العينات التي تدربوا عليها، تغطية كل اقسام المختبر، المهارات التطبيقية للعمل المختبرية مهارة تشغيل أجهزة الفحص المعملي. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تجويد الجانب العملي الخاص بالتدريب الميداني داخل المستشفيات.
