The chemotherapy treatments that rely on toxic drugs that are killing and destroying cancer cells, but these drugs do not have the ability to distinguish between the tumor cells and normal cells, which have the ability to replicate the rapid division, such as mucosal cells, which cause many problems and complication that represent the side effects of chemotherapy.Aim of study: explore oral manifestations in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and aged between 20 and 50 years /Determination of the most effective drugs on the oral cavity / Study of the effect of age and sex on the occurrence of oral complications of chemotherapy / Investigation of the relationship between the treatment plan followed in terms of drug type ,number and oral complications Materials and methods:The sample included 100 patients suffered from different types of cancer as were followed during the period of receiving chemotherapy and explore personal information across distributed questionnaire sheet. Explore the oral complications and treatment protocols for each of them .Then this data entered into a computer program according to the SPSS statistical analysis program .Results The results showed that 61% happened to have mucosit is. 80% of patients complained of changes in taste.84% of the patients happened to have a dry mouth.23% of patients had bleeding occurred spontaneously in the oral mucosa 19% of patients complained of pain and numbness in the mouth and 45% of patients infected by opportunistic infection.The oral complications caused by chemotherapy drugs, increase the problems experienced by cancer patients. Also, some of which threatens to exacerbate the health and psychological condition of the patientas the lead in some cases to discontinue treatment a sa result of the deterioration of the health status of the patient.
