The building's facades in the old city of Aleppo are rich of many solutions for architectural formations which express the old city's identity. In order to understand these solutions, we have to know how these formations are produced in the facades of the old city of Aleppo's buildings, therefore the Islamic doctrine was the main frame which defined the philosophy's bases of the facades' architectural formation. No doubt that the facades' forming in the old Aleppo have affected by many factors which have left a lot of affections in different architectural formations. And as we know that the Islamic architecture is result of the interaction between the human in his spiritual values and the social rules of his life. In addition to that, the surroundings environment of this human have a big role in the architectural formation of the facades, therefore the real architecture is produced for the surroundings environment. As a result to what has been mentioned earlier, the facades of the old city of Aleppo must follow to understanding methods through understanding its architectural formation's philosophy and the effecting factors in its forming in addition to the ingredient elements which form it.
