هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة ظروف عمل الدفيئة الأوتوماتيكية الخاصة بجامعة غرداية التابعة لولاية غرداية، والتي هي جزء من دراسة صحراء الجزائر. وذلك من خلال التعرف على الدفيئة الأوتوماتيكية، مكوناتها ومدى فاعلية وظائفها. ومن أجل ذلك قمنا بـ: دراسة مناخ المنطقة للتأكد من أن إنشاء الدفيئة قد خضع للشروط الملائمة لإنشاء هذا النوع من البيوت البلاستيكية، أيضاً قمنا بمعاينات وخرجات ميدانية نحو دفيئة الجامعة للتأكد من سلامة الهيكل وصحة فاعلية الأجهزة الملحقة بها (الجهاز المسؤول عن التهوية في السقف، جهاز تسخين الهواء، جهاز مراقبة المناخ، محطة الطقس، طبقات التدفئة، مرشح عازل الحشرات... إلخ). وكان هذا خلال الفترة الممتدة من شهر فيفري حتى شهر ماي 2017. لوحظ أن الدفيئة في الموقع المناسب لها، كل الأجهزة المرتبطة بها سليمة وصالحة للتشغيل مما يتيح إمكانية العمل داخلها.
