ترجمة الملخص

This research carried out during the season (2012-2013) on Japanese persimmon var (Hachiya). fruits Harvested from orchard in sharefa village in lattakia in two dates, first Harvest time (about 50% of the surface of fruits colored with orange) and second Harvest time (more than 80% of the surface colored with orange),in order to study the effect of harvesting time and treatment with 1-Methelcyclopropene )1-MCP(on extending the shelf life ofJapanese persimmon var (Hachiya), and maintaining fruits quality. In every Harvest time, a group of fruits remained as a control ,while,three other group streated with three different concentrations (1.5-1-0.5) ppm of 1-MCP at 20 ° C for 24 hours, then stored for 6 months at controlled conditions (2Cᵒ and 85% of relative humidity).The samples were taken periodically (every month) to study the changes in fruits composition during storage period.The results showed that treatment with 1-MCP In first Harvest time keeps fruits at higher degree of firmness compared to the control, and decreased the weight and absolute loss at storage period. The treatment with 1-MCP decreased as well the changes in the fruits composition of Vitamine c, total acidity (TA), total sugars TS, total soluble solids TSS compared to the control.These results indicate that treatment with 1-MCP in first Harvest timeis effective in maintenance storage period for about six months for Japanese persimmon var (Hachiya).
