ترجمة الملخص

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 16 Jakarta is one of the formal educational institutions in Indonesia that also teaches Arabic to its students. The method of habituation and self-confidence are two important aspects that should be studied in learning Arabic. At this school, no habituation activities in the Arabic language have been found in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the habituation method and the effect of self-confidence in learning Maharatul Kalam. The research method used by the researcher is a quantitative experimental method with a true-experimental design type. The type of true-experimental design used is the Pretest-Posttest control group design. The population in this study were all10th grade students at the school. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was 72 students. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are: direct observation during the teaching of maharotul kalam, conducting tests, distributing questionnaires to students, interviews with Arabic teachers.Researchers used the Wilcoxon test, Whitney u test, and N-gain score test with SPSS v.23 media. The results of this study are the results of the Wilcoxon test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating that there is an effect of using the habituation method on students' learning outcomes of speaking Arabic. From the Mann Whitney U test, it was found that the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05 which indicated that there was a significant difference between the results of learning to speak Arabic using the habituation method and the results of learning to speak Arabic without using the habituation method. The n-gain value indicates that the habituation method is effective in improving students' speaking skills learning outcomes. For the effect of confidence on Arabic speaking ability, the results of the t test show that the t count value is 8.891 > t table 1.99 so it can be concluded that the confidence variable (x) has a positive effect.
