- Our work concerns the study of the pathosystem Pisum sativum-Fusariumoxysporumf.sp pisiin order to determinate the stability of the resistance of 28 genotypes of pea, in interaction with 4 strains of Fop(R1: race 1, R 2F42, Arg1 and Arg3: race 2). The study was carried under semi-controlled conditions (under greenhouse). The 28 genotypes were inoculated according to the method of immersion of the roots in the suspensions of spores. The 4 strains could induce typical symptoms of the Fusarium wilt on the inoculated seedlings (wilting, yellowing, drying and/or died of the plant). The rate of infection, the VIS (Visual Index of Severity) and the AUDPC (Area Under Disease Curve Progress), are the parameters used to evaluate the development and the progression of the disease. According to these parameters, the genotypes which are proven most sensitive are 2946 and P21 by recording the rates of infection (64,48% and 63,29%) and the VIS (4,41 and 4,4) the most raised, in interaction with the strain R2F42. The genotypes which are proven most resistant are JI 1559 and Radley by recording the rates of infection (5,42% and 12,8%) and the VIS (1,08 and 1,12) the most lowest, in interaction with the strain Arg3. According to the values of AUDPC, the strain R2F42 is the most virulent, followed by R1. The two local strains Arg1 and Arg3 are the least virulent. The study of the behavior of the 28 pea genotypes with toward to the Fusarium wilt, under conditions of natural infection, was led in the experimental station (University of Blida 1) in full field. No appearance of the disease was recorded of which all the genotypes appeared healthy. The highest rates of germination were noted with the genotypes JI1760, JI2480 and P638. The most significant number of pods was obtained with the genotype P656 (67 pods). Genotype JI1559 produced the most important biomass (232,76 g), while the weight of seeds and the most important weight of 100 seeds were noted with genotype JI1760 (49,97 g) and JI1559 (32,42 g), respectively. A PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) was carried in order to characterize 11 isolates ofF. oxysporum. The amplification revealed the similarity of amplification’s products of ITS and EFα1 regions with these of the reference strainR2F42.
