ترجمة الملخص

The interest in the implementation of projects at relatively low cost, especially road projects has been increased recently. One of the most important factors to reduce project costs is to reduce the cost of transporting materials for construction by using local materials available close to the places of implementation.In order to determine the suitability of using local materials available in the province of Sewida for road works (Tuff from Wedada and Resas Quarries), (Corrupt Basalt from Jdaiaand ALshaab Quarries) and (Basalt Aggregate from Tema Crusher), the following laboratory experiments were performed:(sieve analyses-Atterberg Limits-Praktur Test-sand equivalent-Los Angeles-CBR), showing that it cannot be used directly without improvingits specifications. The specifications of some of these materials have been improved by mechanical mixing.The results showed that mixing corrupt basalt material from Jdaia Quarry with red tuff from Resas Quarry in these percentages: (70 -60 -50)% Corrupt Basalt(Jdaia) with (30-40–50)% Red Tuff(Resas)achieves the technical conditions and specifications required to Aggregate Sub Bases of road works in the Syrian Arab Republic (improving the value of C.B.R and curve of grain analyses for tuff and plasticity index of corrupt basalt).The corrupt basalt specifications of ALshaab quarry was improved by using the smallest types of crushers, where aggregates were obtained as a base course achieving the Syrian Specifications for roads works.The results showed that basaltic aggregates can be used as a base course after mixing with the following percentages: (40-40-50) basalt coarse with (20-10-5) basalt medium (lenticular) with (40-50-45) fine basalt (sand) and all of them achieve the required quality specifications and the second grade of base course
